I’m interested in making a two panel saddle. I’ve seen the fusion d-rings recommended. What is the purpose/benefit of the bent d-rings? They appear to be subsequently more expensive. Just wondering if there’s a reason I should order them over the straight ones. Or is there a better option?

I have used both the bent and straight D-rings and dont see a difference.
Spot on! Same experience for me. It really comes down to availability, and at one point the bent rings were the only ones available.

Thanks for the replies. The pleated saddles I’ve made have been extremely comfortable for me but curiosity has me wanting to try a two panel.
