IMO, the last thing aero hunter should be doing is going the amsteel bridge with amsteel friction hitches in endless loop configuration. Or clips for leg loops. Looking at Sampson site for splicing, I do not see an approved “endless loop” splice. If aero hunter chases the “lightest is best” route, it will be to their folly
I agree, there's no chance Aerohunter is going with Amsteel. It's designed for maximum straight line strength as opposed to knotted strength and abrasion resistance. It's overly strong for light duty hunting applications so people get away with it but Samson would never endorse it being used that way so neither would New Tribe.
