Up issues

If I remember correctly Jimbo you're a big dude.
Is your rope a static rope? You might be stretching it some?
I'd mess with that knot some.
Honestly, as short as that stick is I'd drill a hole for the rope so it pulls straight out each way. Center of cam cleat...

My U.P. was solid as long as I set it really good.
 
I use TRC rope and I tied a scaffold knot around the stick. I made my stick 18 inches with 1/8" wall aluminum tubing. It does not budge.
