Using lights??

I use a bright white light going to and from my stand. Ever hear the term deer in headlights? Haha they just freeze and stare and you can walk right past them. Deer can see in the dark so it’s not like your sneaking past them without one. Makes it way easier to be quiet too

Plus, if you live anywhere where coyotes, cougars, bears, holes in the ground, barbed wire, or meth heads are common....I can't imagine feeling nice about walking in in the dark.....My lights are over 500 lumens.
