USPS shipping delays

I have a buddy that works USPS. He said our little post office has 14 - man height pallets to deliver. They're lucky to get one out a day. The priority is Amazon packages. Regular packages (the ones we send) literally get shoved aside and stacked back to get Bezos packages delivered. I'm glad the heavily government subsidized USPS puts a multi billionaire as their property instead of us regular folks that have paid their way for so many years. It's time to privatize the USPS and let someone run it profitably.
 
USPS is pretty backed up...I ordered from strapworks and they shipped the same day...I was supposed to receive the package by the 16th...well today is the 23rd and tracking shows its still in Oregon and I am in NY...lol...also purchased some gear from someone on SH...he mailed it out the same day...also supposed to get it early last week...the package is still in PA at some usps center and I am still in NY...dafreak!
 
My package that was supposed to be here last Friday is still “in transit to next facility” as it’s been since last Thursday.

The ridiculous thing is that “next facility” would have to be my local post office seeing as the facility it was last allegedly seen at is 30 minutes from my home town.

Not sure how a 30 minute drive on the freeway has stretched out to 6 day drive?

Had they let me id have driven out there and picked it up 6 days ago already.

Looks like i’ll be getting it in 2021 at this rate.

Nov 30- order processed and Shipped with USPS
Dec 16- Arrives at Canada Customs
Dec 22- Package arrives at sorting facility
Dec 23- Package is on its way to final destination and “should” arrive by tomorrow

Almost a month folks!!

Looks like I am finally going to get my ROS. They arrived at facility 30 miles from me last night. The versa straps I bought from another member here supposedly are lost according to email he got from USPS and he was kind of enough to refund my money. I got my saddle Monday and Oplux last week. This Chinese virus has reaked havoc on the way everything works and flows it seems. Merry Christmas to everyone!
 
Let me tell what is even more messed up than USPS! When you can't get regular hashbrowns at Cracker Barrell because they have limited menu for Holiday week! What is this world coming to! Should have gone to Waffle House!

Not so fast! My package left a sorting facility 30 minutes from me last Thursday and i still haven’t received it.

The last shipping update yesterday still says, “in transit to destination facility”

Maybe they’re trying to be extra efficient by sending it across the country from Illinois, to WI, to California, then back to WI with all the other WI bound stuff coming from CA? That would explain turning a 30 min drive on the freeway into a 7 day drive?
 
I live in SC, my package came form Minnesota all the way to Greer SC was refused by the sorting facility there and shipped back up north . This was over the span of a month . Got my money back from ebay . Crazy things going on now .
 
Well, I ordered my wife a 25th year anniversary gift that I haven't received. Also her Christmas gift. I'm not easy to make mad, but this fumes me.
 
Ordered my Grandson a Kryptek Njord jacket, (anyone have any exp. with Kryptek). I may not ever know if the jacket is any good because it's been in New Jersey since Dec 10, USPS is on my list.

I have a ton of Kryptek. Definitely well made high quality stuff. My bet is he will wear it all the time like i do if he ever gets it.
 
I ordered arrows and some archery supplies from 3 rivers archery on 12/4 and just received them on 12/23 from USPS!
