Vanes you running?

Have had really good quiet flight with 3 fletch AAE hybrids with a right helical (done on a Bitz). Shaft is VAP TKO and broadhead is iron will wide 150 gr.

Trying some heat vanes shortly riding on top of some new arrows I bought Victory RIP TKO’s ..ready to bare shaft tune this week then gawd willing fletch some up. I bought the Victory to see how the marked spine works.

AAE hybrids and max stealth. Have worked great for normal weight arrows and work well for heavy/FOC arrows as well.

My go to are the Max Stealth. I have shot blazer, Q2i, TAC, firenock, heat and a bunch of others. I will play with TAC again but it’s hard to give up the Stealth.

Max stealth are nice because they're big and should help with stabilization if you're using a wider fixed blade. I tried them for a season and while they are solid I wanted to try a smaller and lighter vane to see if I could achieve the same flight with a lighter arrow with more FOC. I chose the AAE Pro MAX and have been very happy with them even when shooting my IW wides out to 50-60 yards in testing. They are quieter as well which I like. I use them in a 4 fletch right helical config.

I ran Blazer vanes for many years, then switched to Max Hunter vanes. However, last year, I switched to a 2" Rayzr feathers and have better flight and more accurate flight. Plus, 3 feathers weigh the same as 1 vane and this helps improve the FOC balance. :)

I shoot cut-on-contact fixed blade broadheads with a single left bevel. The left wing feathers fletched with a slight off-set really enhances the left rotation and full pass-thru penetration on deer. You can feel the rotation of the arrow, when pulling it out of a foam broadhead target. Love Rayzr feathers!

AAE PM23 Hybrid vanes in a 4-fletch left helical configuration for the past 3 years, and AAE Max Stealth before that for a year or two.

I used Vanetec HP this year with a right helical ez fletch. Bought the left jig to try out and some 1.75” vanetecs with a real low profile. Gonna try and make up some arrows and go to tac this year so want more clearance on my sight. Probably sticking with the 2” hps next year but in left fletch most likely

Another AAE Max Stealth user here. I have to run the cock vane at the 1 o'clock position to clear the roller guard on my V3X33, but they are awesome vanes! Follow the directions and use their Primer Pen and Max Bond. Can't pull them off with pliers!!

I hate the primer pen! A Q-Tip soaked in acetone works just as well, as long as you use the AAE Max Bond glue.
