My sincere apologies if this has already been posted here. I do a search and went back 5-6 pages and found nothing here about it.
Anyone know anything about it?

If it will work as well as climbing sticks it would be great.

Sorry just found essentially an exact post, just didn't think the post title was describing this climbing system.

I don’t know how fun climbing an aider flat against the tree will be but I would probably give it a try. The guy has balls climbing like that with just a lineman’s belt on.
 
I've tried climbing with an aider and didn't care for it. I can't imagine climbing with JUST an aider and a lineman's belt. The fall protection or lack thereof isn't what I'd call a safe climb.....but that's just me. :) To each their own.

Cant imagine with big boots especially insulated rubber for those cold creek crossing.
