How do u guys do it? My methods it to tuck the tail under the last wrap and try to cinch it down but I'm usually not very successful at getting it secure. How's do u terminate the wraps in a way that will keep things all nice and tight? I know it doesn't last forever but if it stays tight to the item it lasts a pretty long time. I notice that when it gets loose because u didn't secure the last wrap good enough it wears out 10xs faster.

Vet wrap sticks on itself so I just stick it on itself. I never had an issue with it coming undone.

@DanO your vet wrap must suck then....sorry ....don't be mad at me

2 or 3 good uses and it starts unwrapping.

What kind of glue? Like Elmer's glue
I would use some gorilla glue if I was concerned about it. I got the camo wrap from EWO and had to cut it off at the end of the season when I was going to paint the platform.

Wow...I guess I'm the only 1...I just got done rewrapping the canoe yoke for the 3rd time. Ingot a bad batch
On your canoe? You have ametal canoe that likely gets hot which could melt or weaken the adhesive. Next I'd say though the vet tape can get wet I don't think it is totally water proof. I believe it shrinks when wet. Combine shrinking with contrasts in weather/temp it could be enough for it so shrink so much that it pulls of at the ends. I don't think I would use it in a enviroment where I knew it would be wet all the time. Maybe don't wrap it as tight so that when it shrinks it still has some elasticity in it. Once you max out the elasticity if it shrinks its going to come undone.

I use TSC's also w/great results. Don't stretch it really tight at the last wrap and just smooth it down.
