Where the skys are so blue!

Wanted to start a stand-alone thread for this piece of gear. I've owned several turkey vests and chairs and while I haven't turkey hunted in this one yet, I've hunted in the original and seriously considered chopping the legs.

As I spend more time on it I'll update, and try to answer questions.

Also, for the social media guys who like Mr. David's stuff , if you wanna post this up in the appropriate places I'd be obliged and I'm sure he would be too. I killed my Facebook profile or I'd do it myself

Hey Nutt! Couple months have gone by now and presumably you've had a bit more time in the turkey seat. Speaking on terms of your stature and build, do you still prefer it over the original height pacseat?

^Also curious.

I have been tempted to chop mine a little but am afraid it might hurt it’s tree leaning ability.

The way the legs are bent at the bottom is the only thing keeping me from cutting my original down. I would really like a seat that's a bit shorter.

Yeah my mind says that I'd like that also. Think there's a line between a hair shorter and "oh my gosh I should've stuck with the original". Hoping Nutterbuster can help since he's had it for a bit now and we're about the same size.

With my back being as screwed up as it is, I find it MUCH more comfortable to sit with my knees higher than my hips. I'm 5' 10" with a long body and short legs.

So, I ended up giving my full size seat to my dad at the beginning of season. Been exclusively using the turkey chair.

Tbh, the full is more comfortable. But I've made several 4-5 hour sits in the turkey chair.

I wish they made one that could do both.

How much lower do you sit in the turkey chair compared to the full size?

Unless your a very good welder, it's easier to cut off than add back on.
