Waterproofing string

This may be a dumb question but I'm looking into water proofing my flethcings. Would you ever water proof your string as well? I mean, obviously there's wax. But would you ever spray a water proofer on it?
 
I found this stuff and it works awesome on fletchings. I hunted in the rain quite a bit last year with no issues. You want to do it soon though as it take a week for the smell to subside. I agree with @ricky racer regarding the string...wax is all you need.
