I was thinking, All this agonizing over how to shoot the weak side, which way is best etc. If you’re shooting a compound bow with a rotating release why not just drop down in weight a little and shoot it left handed when you have a weak side shot? I mean, with a little practice it couldn’t be that big a deal. I’ve shot several left handed with a gun.

most risers (unless ambidextrous riser) are different LH vs RH. using left vs right eye will be different. release setup (ie. thumb barrel position) can be different LH vs RH. anchor points will be different. POI will be different.

i've tested at 20 yards indoor with an ambidextrous compound (OK Archery) shooting LH and RH and the POI was off by a couple inches horizontally. that difference will only increase at longer distances.

I’m ambidextrous not gonna work for me but if you think if you could pull it off… more power to you. I would loosen up my tether turn slowly around ( not knowing what your platform is or if you use ROS) slowly slide your tether over your bow hand shoulder and shoot like your on a standard tree stand.

Never had any qualms about weak side, little more movement to get into position, yes. But definitely not enough of a hassle to re invent the wheel, its just part of it.
Agreed. And It’s just as stressful in a standard safety harness/treestand to shoot facing tree as it is in saddle to face away from it on weak side, but for a larger window IMO.

I tried it when I got home from hunting and it’s a little awkward but not too bad, some practice could fix that. I shoot 43 lbs and a 2 bld stinger so it’s easier that somebody shooting 70 lbs . I’m gonna work on it.

Over your bridge & rotate your hips it’s really not that big of a deal. You can always tweak your feet to get it right.
12-3 o'clock i go over the bridge and rote the hips just like u described...left hip against the trunk for my 3 points of contact.3-6 o'clock I anchor my right knee into the tree and push off the side of the platform with left foot and rotate. I'm right handed

Come to the light. The JX3 light.
Sit all day with comfort.
With a ROS you can go around the tree and never have a weak side shot.

Isn’t the cable guard going to be in the way of your grip? Plus you’re trying to shoot opposite eye dominance.

Seems way more difficult than shooting the weak side
