What’s your arrow/broadhead setup ?

With a Grizzly Stik 320 at 29” and a 125 Samurai mine are ~525 and measured them at 18% I think it was. Like mossy said, it’s easy to measure, don’t go by the calculator if you’re wanting an accurate number on your arrows. The calculator is better used for comparison shopping IMO
How do you calculate “accurately” then? I’d be curious because I’ve only ever used the online calc

With RIP TKO (9.0 GPI)

125gr head
75gr insert
4” wrap
4 AAE Max (9.2gr/vane)
Lumenok (24gr)

I’m at 518.8 TAW and 11.8% FOC based on GoldTip’s online calc

If I stay with my 300 BE rampages

If I change from stock 52gr inserts to 75gr I move from 487 TAW, 10.5% FOC to 510 TAW, 12% FOC

4” wrap and almost 40 grains from vanes is why yours is low

Short draws. 475 and probably 16-17% for me. 27” 300 spine and 200 total upfront.
Sirius Gemini and rip xv’s are probably the lightest arrows in 250 spine tho

Yeah, I’m shooting less than 400gr TAW, 100gr up front plus 20gr inserts, 400 spine, but only 26” of carbon (total kid arrows) and my FOC is right about 13% (plenty for a Whitetail). Plus 8.4gpi doesn’t hurt at that length. I’m blowing through ribs and vitals. Only thing to stop me arrows so far is an offside shoulder on a 250# buck. Otherwise we’ve gone full shaft through deers.

Having 60 grains of vanes and nock on the back is what's killing your FOC. If you dropped down to three Blazers or Rapt-X at 6-7 grains each and a standard 8-10 grain nock it would bump up your FOC a lot.

I just plugged your arrow into the Podium Archery calculator and by dropping down to a 3 fletch and a standard 10 grain nock you'd bump your FOC up 3%

As far as FOC calculators where you don't actually measure the balance point on the arrow, I've found the Podium Archer one to be closer than Gold Tip

Yeah I have 3 DCA supers right now, but I feel like my fixed BH flight would be more forgiving with 4 vanes and wanted to test those..
