What’s your vane color of choice?

It depends on the brand of vanes I use.

If I am using AAE vanes, I go with 2 sunset gold and 1 blue. If I use Bohning Blazer vanes, I go with 2 florescent orange and 1 blue. I ran out of Blazer vanes and picked up some from the local shop and went with 2 florescent yellow and 1 purple.

All green orange or yellow Can’t stand an odd color cockvane Looks like the arrow is tumbling too me Usually no wrap Don’t care nothing about pretty arrows Plan on breaking em on critters as quickly as possible

Apologies OP for thread drift, those of you that use white/reflective wraps- are all wraps the same (buy the cheapest) or are there better/worse brands you recommend? Seems like a good idea to add a wrap below (above?) the vanes for blood analysis compared to the normal black carbon shafts.

no worries from me, this is the purpose of the thread.

What I've found for me is that there isn't much difference between them. They are all the same vinyl with the same adhesive. Apply it to a cleaned shaft (acetone) and they all stick. Give it an acetone wipe and good luck getting the vane off.

Hot pink or fluorescent green pop the most to my eye. Either a white wrap or wrap to match the fletch.
