What are some really good book about deer hunting?

I just gave away this book to a member on here. I even paid the $3 media shipping charge. Haha! Looks like I missed out on $200 worth of new saddle gear. Oh well. It was a fairly new hunter so I hope it helps him kill a monster this season.

I gave away a copy last year also. There's been a couple passed around on here. Don't let the book sellers on Amazon know, we might ruin their market.

Got it on eBay for like $25 a couple of years ago. Need to finish reading it. He lives in southern IN. So it’s actually relevant to my area.

If you get tired of reading you might want to listen to some of the podcast from The Stickboys, esp the ones with Alan Altizer and Nathan Killen. There is a lot of deer killin knowledge between those 2 guys. All of the woodsmanship episodes have been great.
Anything Nathan Killen is well worth any time spent listening. In just one season I went from only smaller bucks to multiple larger more mature deer in one season

Most of the good ones are covered above. After you get through reading about whitetails, which is essential, read up on natural camouflage. A great tool to add to the arsenal. I'm not talking about the mossy oak, real tree, etc. stuff. I'm talking about breaking up your silhouette, being aware of your background, shades, shadows, etc.

A pretty quick read for the basics is Principles Of Natural Camouflage The Art Of Invisibility by Eddie Starnater.
