What boots are y’all wearing?

So the La Sportivas let me down....

Broke an eyelet while lacing up, you would think I’m the hulk or something not a middle aged frumpy dad.

I was bummed about the lack of support that was offered by camofire. I wore these boots maybe a dozen times.

Guess it’s time to try one of the other brands listed on here as well as a different vendor.

Lacrosse Alphaburly 800s, Gumleaf Viking Neos, Crispi Wild Rock Plus's, Kenetrek Extreme 400s, Miendl Ultimate Hunters, and an old pair of Cabela's Guide boots 1200 for Rifle hunting

Guess I'm the odd duck but I like Danners. Wore their boots during my military service and they never let me down. I have a pair of the snake proof pronghorn that I really like. For scent control I only wear them in the field, then when I get home I throw them in a tub with my ozone machine. Once that's run I have some activated carbon I throw in there to soak up any left over odor. I've had mature does cut right across my trail and be none the wiser.

I ordered from Optocs Planet some Irish Setter Elk Tracker 1000 gm insulation now the waiting game begins.

Im wearing Schnees, not a whole tone of experience with boots and kinds, but I like em a lot! Have a pair of beartooth mids and a taller pair of granite 2s. I've pretty much wore running shoes my whole life even in all the snow going to work and back haha but also didn't spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors! But changing that!!! So I wasn't used to wearing anything tall or boot like, theyre really stiff and comfy, but I would say probably on the heavy side seeing some of the lightweight ones out there. hiked through Peru with them and side hilling was comfy, walk through lots of water just to see if I can get wet lots of times and put them to the test and haven't been able to yet!

I have worn the Vapor Treks and they are fine for me as long as I am not on steep ground. Switched to Crispi Valdres for hills and mountains. For bottomland hunting I have been wearing LaCrosse since I was a teen. May switch that up though as the recent reviews are not that great. My try some Mucks.

Also have a pair of Lowa renegades for everyday wear, very nice boot and wouldnt be afraid to hunt in them at all.

I’ve got two pairs of Zamberlans. They have been great boots. Been wearing my 996 for about five years.

I hunt in the Lacrosse Alphaburly Pro for where I am at in VA. They are comfortable to me and have been the best rubber boots that I have worn. I recently purchased a pair of Crispi Colorado for my do all boots when not hunting swamp lands and to prepare for my upcoming elk hunt in Montana.

Cancelled my order with Optics planet because they said shipping was between 5-10 months. I used Rocky's during my postal career and ordered a pair of an all leather 1000 gram insulated that I should receive mid August. I actually talked to a very pleasant young lady that knocked off $40 and they have free shipping as well- both ways in case there is a problem with sizing etc.

I really like my Solomon’s, I have some Irish setter rubber boots if it’s gonna be wet, short walk or platform. I don’t love rubber boots on ROS but it’s doable for a short time.

I have 2 pair of lowa tibet gtx, there unreal, worth every penny, schnees hunter 2s for when it gets a little bit colder and schnees extreme for when its really cold, I keep them all greased up and they last for many years.

I'm a knee high rubber boot guy exclusively. With the gradual Lacrosse decline in quality, and not being a Muck fan, I decided to try the Gumleaf boots Eberhart endorsed. Little pricey, but I got an uninsulated pair and plan to put them through the ringer and see how they hold up. If they are good as they say they are, it might be a while before I can tell you how long it takes to wear them out.

I got a cheap pair of Guide Gear un-insulated rubber boots for when it's warm, a pair of Mucks for mild cold, and yep another pair of Mucks for when it's real cold. After wearing rubber boots and having dry feet no matter what I step in and not having to tie laces or re tighten the laces I won't go back.
