What bow are you hunting with this year?

That's really fast!! I shoot a little heavier arrow and 1 inch shorter draw and am prolly lucky if I'm in the 290's low 3's.

My arrows now are over 600 usually. Heavier arrows are just more pleasurable to shoot for me.

I bought a five-year-old Bowtech Experience this year. Once I finally got it dialed in, it shoots well.

Shooting a PSE Carbon Air (Carbon Tech) for the first season & Matthews DXT as backup..

...gotta have a backup, right? I can't part with my ole partner that accompanied me so many trips.

Mathews Heli-m tactical. Haven’t found any reason to change it since 2012. I did recently update my arrow rest to QAD ultra rest with some stealth stripping instead of the crap felt they send with it. Super quiet and shoots like a dream. Sighted in 2 inches low at 20 yards.

60" Asbell Bighorn Recurve. 70# @29.

70# @ 29"?
Holy smoke...shoot a 750 grain arrow out of that thing and it will hit like a freight train! That bow would shoot heavy arrows thru brick walls.
I would have trouble drawing the thing, let alone being accurate after hanging in the tree for 5 cold hours. I remember trying to draw a 90# recurve several years ago when I was young and in shape...it was a joke.
If you can effectively shoot that bow, I ain't messing with you.

HA, I'm scrappy! IT honestly draws smoother, easier, and steadier than my 64" brown recluse flatbow (forward handle riser) which only draws 50# @ 28, but I pull that to 30+ish...so I"m probably pulling right around 60#(?maybe). IT definitely hits like a tank. I cant shoot at my block undr 20yrds, or it burys my POC arrows to the nock.

Really its all ergonomics to me. The bow just feels so good spec wise for my body, it draws great. ITs like everything lines up. I have to focus very little on form, and just concentrate on a smooth draw. I have a brand new set of 65#@ 28 for it as well, but they're a little longer.
