70# @ 29"?
Holy smoke...shoot a 750 grain arrow out of that thing and it will hit like a freight train! That bow would shoot heavy arrows thru brick walls.
I would have trouble drawing the thing, let alone being accurate after hanging in the tree for 5 cold hours. I remember trying to draw a 90# recurve several years ago when I was young and in shape...it was a joke.
If you can effectively shoot that bow, I ain't messing with you.
HA, I'm scrappy! IT honestly draws smoother, easier, and steadier than my 64" brown recluse flatbow (forward handle riser) which only draws 50# @ 28, but I pull that to 30+ish...so I"m probably pulling right around 60#(?maybe). IT definitely hits like a tank. I cant shoot at my block undr 20yrds, or it burys my POC arrows to the nock.
Really its all ergonomics to me. The bow just feels so good spec wise for my body, it draws great. ITs like everything lines up. I have to focus very little on form, and just concentrate on a smooth draw. I have a brand new set of 65#@ 28 for it as well, but they're a little longer.
