What bow are you hunting with this year?

2013 Bear Domain, it's been my since a got away from a Mathews Conquest.. Its slow compared to nearly all new bows today, especially since I'm shooting tree trunks, easton xx75 gamegetters, full length, 36g insert 100g weight, 125g magnus stinger, and 3" bohning x vanes. Heavy arrows makes this bow insanely quiet, its deadly everytime, even without all "speed

I needed new string and cables on my Answer so of course I procrastinated until September. Well once I got it done, I started shooting and was having a heck of a time tuning my broadheads. Eventually I discovered that the bottom cam was a tad bent. I could kinda tune it to get the broadheads visually flying well, but they were still way off my field points. So I did what anyone reasonable person would do and bought a pack of Rages...okay I jest.

I bought a Triax a week before the season started. Ironically enough, my brother was at a charity auction over the summer and this here Triax was about to go out the door for dirt cheap. I instructed him to scoop it up because he could sell it for a nice little profit. To my good fortune, he was still holding onto it a couple months later and sold it to me sans the profit. He lives 7 hours away but as fate would have it was headed home the next weekend. I needed mods for it, further delaying things.

Finally got it set up last week, and I must say I do like it. It is a neat little bow, kinda cute. I am shooting great with it. It's a pleasure to handle in the tree with the short ata. Never felt a bow so dead in the hand. Now the proud owner of the iPhone of compound bows, I was relieved to learn that one of those yuge skeevy Mathews stickers does not affix itself to your truck. Phew. Ready to get a couple notches on it.

Triax. Every year I say I’m gonna hunt with a recurve. Haven’t been disciplined enough to get proficient with it, and I also like shooting 50 and 60 yards.

Hunting with a 60" 53#@28" Pronghorn 1 piece longbow this year. Was blessed with this buck while hanging from my new ASAT Flex saddle on October 14th in Michigan!

Got a new Realm SR6 this year, and while it shoots smooth I'm thinking of going back to a 7" brace height next year. Maybe a Prime or Matthews Tactic. Heck, maybe even a Bear solo cam. Something a little more forgiving in case form isn't perfect.

Elite Energy 32 and a Spott Hogg Hunter 5 pin sight. I do have a EZV in the package but have not shot with it yet. Limited time and season so close it may have to wait until spring.View attachment 15251

ha, I wonder how many of us have that damn EZ V still in the package sitting next to our bows and for whatever reason just haven't gotten around to making the switch?

Old Hoyt Charger. Single pin HHA sight. 70lb draw. FMJ arrows with Rage Hypos. Love this combo.
And a Samick Sage recurve at 45lb.

06 Hoyt supertec with a blackgold ascent is deadly.
From the ground it’s a Border hex7.5/tribute riser kit that is fun to shoot.

Still rocking my Mathews Z7, hha single pin, qad ultra. Id really love to get a no cam or Vertix but Id still keep the Z7 setup and cant really justify a whole new setup to the old lady lol.

Bowtech carbonight. I bought one the first year they came out I dont like the handle but everything else I like.
