What did you buy today?

3V Outlaw II Gear Slinger Urban Sling Pack based off this review:

It was only about $45 shipped with code WELCOME

Let us know what you think. I had one last season. The material is pretty loud for how I was using it, and as with any sling pack a decent load over distance is going to wear on a shoulder.

It is a decent tactical carry bag though. Took it to the range several times.

Oh today I bought 150’ of 7/64 amsteel.

I bought a JX3 off of here for my son. Ordered a mini-Beast Stick as well. Also ordered a Woodhaven Red Ninja Glass Turkey Call. I had a bad day. LOL. I actually had done pretty well for a while.

Just ordered 75’ of predator rope and a throw line cube from WesSpur. 20% off Samson ropes on there right now.

Picked up two industrial sewing machines yesterday. I bought them a few weeks ago and had to arrange a time around the Covid-19 shutdown to pick them up. When I am finished testing, I will have greatly enhanced bicep development. These things are heavy.

Nice, are you in the double digits with sewing machines now? What type of motor do you plan to use with them? Did they come with motors?

I am not yet in double digits with industrial machines. These were only the heads. I was interested in the walking foot machine but he was selling the package so I bought both. I have a lot of work to do to get a servo motor and get these working. I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

Iron Will Wide 125’s
6 more Day Six Arrows plus 100 g SS Outserts
12-125 g GT Field Points

Heading to Lowe’s here shortly...we’ll see how that goes

Damn you guys got me buying things I don’t even need yet. It’s April! I saw the coupon for the mystery ranch pop up on shnees boots site so I was going to pull the trigger on the pop up 18. Then I wanted to research and make sure it wasn’t too small and found the same deal basically at mountain archery but in camo and still a size small that I need. I was torn between the pop up 28 and the 18 but honestly I’ve used a fanny pack for years with a stand. But the stand was my backpack. I added a good molle belt and shoulder straps to the stand. I could have gotten away with a small pack and waist belt but I really liked the beefier Molle waist belt I had and the support of the tree stand. So I think I’ll like the support of the pop up with sticks, platform, etc, and be able to pack about a quartered whitetail when needed. I’ll do a review of it when I get it.

Stop with all these great ideas!! Haha

you’re using a dremel, I presume? Got a pic of your build?
I'd suggest building one from this over a dremel. I've found when I used a dremel I have to cut the arrow twicesince the blade diameter is smaller than the housing of the dremel. Full length arrow contacts the housing of the dremel before it hits the saw blade.

Good to know...I have a Harbor Freight right down the road. Do you just make a mark on your arrow and cut it by hand or did you make some kind of guide for the arrows?

You can do either but since you are setting up a bow shop at home why not add to the cool factor of having a dedicated arrow cutting setup. There are hundreds of different ways to build some sort of adjustable sled.

Camofire got me the other day for a dozen gold tip hunter 300s.....naturally an ethics order was required
