What did you do today that’s related to saddle hunting?

Worked on a first time pack build for a friend (@Islandshooter)… Used the design of a pack he already has and made it in the viper camo with extra rows of mollie webbing. It seems like a fantastic set up for guys running the framed packs walking long distances. I didn’t realize how much thought goes into some of these back pack designs! Hopefully it ends up meeting expectations

Can’t wait to get it buddy

I made tether handles and tested them out. They helped for sure, but I’ll tinker with them a little more.

I loaded up my cart on Amazon with my preset and ascender accessories(throw ball etc. Trying to hold off just a bit, but am wanting to SRT something fierce. It’s like chasing a girl you just got to have and you won’t stop still you have her….at least women are about the only thing that’s had a grip on me like these climbing methods. I’m really wanting to go straight up a rope, in a really bad way.

Ordered a retractable bow rope because I can never remember to pull mine up.

Used pruning shears for the first time yesterday, need to modify a place for them on my dump pouch.
buy a holster for your shears. Most come with snaps so you can put them right through the molle loops on the saddle. I have a set on mine that way. Always handy and if you need to snip a branch along the way they are right there

Bought a Latitude Method 2. Really excited to feel the difference between it and my existing H2 saddle. Now I just need the weather to warm up above 15* to be able to start messing with it.

I modified my Cruzr Archon. Attached it to a battle belt with suspenders. Adds a little weight but is super comfortable and padded. Also keeps the upper panel from curling. Also made the adjustable bridge removable on one side so I can throw on an extra layer during cold weather and pull the bridge through the slits on either side so it doesn’t bunch up and you can pull the over garment all the way down like it should be. The suspenders also have molle webbing on them so during warm weather you can attach a dump pouch or even the predator pack to the back for a minimalist approach.

Was down at the garage this morning trying a few things out. Sitting in both the Kite and XC with backbands. One down around my legs slightly past the saddle which was really comfortable for added leg support. Then added another backband for its normal use. Can't tell you how comfy I found that. Seems like a lot of 'fiddle' but it really wasn't. With the XC I don't need more leg support but with the Kite I find that it rides a bit different and having that extra support under the legs was nice

Fletched out a new dozen Pierce Platinums with a 4 degree right helical. Also ordered some wraps for another set. Starting to think I may go wraps on everything going forward. So easy to peel em off and re-fletch and I like to re-fletch even more often than I should. Relaxing.
