Thanks! Im eternally experimenting with different finishing processes. This one is several coats of hand rubbed wipe on - satin poly. It’s then buffed with compound and finished with a quick buff of paraffin wax. It’s a very simple and fast way to get a nice finish.Friggin’ stunning, my man.
What did you use for the top coat on that wood?

Handwarmers????? . . . . for the 20's?????? You southern guys have thin blood.I went and bought some hand warmers for this weekend. Supposed to be in the upper 20's in the morning. Bunch a crap if you ask me having to hunt in these conditions.
i swear its a relative thing, ive froze way worse in the duck blind when there is no snow than i do when ice fishing in the winter.Handwarmers????? . . . . for the 20's?????? You southern guys have thin blood.
Just poking fun . . . but I have to say I agree.i swear its a relative thing, ive froze way worse in the duck blind when there is no snow than i do when ice fishing in the winter.
My hands freaking freeze and it doesnt take real cold weather. Been that way my whole life. By the time the guys I hunt with break out a jersey glove, I'm looking for the warmest gloves I can find. I will not wear a glove on my shooting hand either so handwarmers are a requirement.Handwarmers????? . . . . for the 20's?????? You southern guys have thin blood.
i was freezing cold last weekend in 31 degree weather and my fancy rechargeable hand warmer wasnt cutting it. anything below 40 for me is frozen tundra as far as im concerned...i got that thin southern blood for sure lolHandwarmers????? . . . . for the 20's?????? You southern guys have thin blood.
