Summit cable mod? Please share how this was done.I've decided on the LWHC with the 50 degree bolt mod and the Summit cable mod. I like it. Tried it out today and love it......

I made side arms to accept the Summit cable. 1" steel square tube with 1/16 wall thickness. What is the summit mod?
Doesn’t anyone recommend SRT? No sticks or other hardware to hike in. Just some lightweight rope and very lightweight devices.

Spurs without a doubt. There's no wasted effort. You can take as small of steps as you want, circle around the tree if needed. Quieter than any other method, super lightweight.
I agree with the forward leaning sticks ... but they are quite heavy... I bought the 16 ft version of these...Cherry picker....
Really as far as the easiest it would have to be forward climbing sticks, it's more like climbing an extension ladder than climbing completely vertical up a tree, for presets your not gonna beat it for pure ease of climbing.
