What is LWCG Silent Touch / Slayer Tape?

I bought a Trophyline Mission Platform from another saddle hunter (awesome platform) and he added this tape on the platform perimeter and buckle. This stuff works very well. Does anyone who has seen it or uses it recognize it from somewhere else? I’ve not seen or felt anything quite like it.

It’s good stuff. Pricey but does an excellent job in deadening sound. It’s a rubbery material.

There is another option called stealth strip that also do a good job with deadening sound and has stronger adhesive but are made out of cloth material and I fear the material may hold scent so I much prefer the slayer tape.

I ordered a roll of the 2” stuff, I’m putting it on all strap buckles. Having the tape around the platform is obviously good but I was very pleasantly surprised at how the tape on the mission platform buckle took the “ting” out of it.
