What Lighted Nock do you prefer?

Another vote for Firenock if you're using small or micro diameter. They have the only design I'm really happy with for those smaller sizes. I even use the nocks without lights for micros because they have a short throat (less flex) and are pretty consistent. For larger diameter arrows I'd still like them, but the performance margin likely isn't as large to justify the price gap.

Would normally work. But since they are f-nocks (.165 ID shafts) they have that little cork insert that you have to glue in to keep the battery from sliding down the shaft. Poor design in the first place.

I've been using Glorynocks the last couple of years. They've worked well for me. They are similar to the nockturnals but have a button to turn off. I used lumenocks for a long time but they kept turning themselves on when it rained and the arrow got wet. That might have been a consequence of FMJ arrows though. Either way They would light up on their own and kill the batteries.

Just got these, i was using the old ones that need a screw driver to turn them off, these things are sweet

Drill bit , sling the arrow. It'll come out at mach 3 so be careful

My buddy and I both had 3 glory nocks each and they did not light up when the arrow left the string. All 6 nocks did not activate upon discharge. Very frustrating but we used them all season. They turned on randomly when used but never constantly. Could have been a bad batch.

See above, F-Nock has a piece of cork that you glue in underneath it to keep the battery in place when you shoot. I’ll try it, but thinking some kind of very stiff rod small enough to fit through the insert on the business end but stiff enough to push through the cork.

I just got some of those, time will tell how they work out....
 
Warning to those considering Glory Nocks. They appear to be well made but the nock is super wide. I run a decent sized nock gap to avoid nock pinch and these fit but eliminate any and all nock gap. You will have to re-tie your nock ties and d loop and then your standard width nocks on your practice arrows will have a sizeable gap (too large IMO).

Same here. The reflective wraps really stand out in the dark. Only issue I have is seeing em if the arrow is buried in the bushes.

I switched this year to the reflective as well. I took a shot at a rabbit in some high grass Friday evening. Couldn’t find the arrow. Hunted the same spot Saturday morning. Did a thorough search with a bright light. Still did not find that arrow. Revisiting the lighted nock scene once again.
 
My experience with nocturnals is my arrows fly differently with them - usually shoot lower than normal nocks with the compound bow. With the recurve I bare shafted perfect with my Easton nocks but got bad bare shaft results with the nocturnals...That turned me off to them.....
 
I go back and forth on lighted nocks. They're definitely nice to have. But I've had issues with about every one that I've tried. Loose on the string, loose in the arrow, hard to turn off, etc. I'm not paying the price for Firenocks. The cheap eBay ones work fine if you put some Scotch tape or something around it before you put them in the arrow. Zingers has some fletchings that glow now that I may try.
 
I use a white nock, 4 white 3 inch vanes, and 5 inch white wrap. I can see it pretty darn well. The only down fall is you wont see it as well if its stuck in the deer but I use it to see where i hit the deer. Lighted nock just got to be to much of a pain with not working all the time and the ones that work flawless are to expensive to keep running them, Firenock. Firenock is the best option but they are expensive.
 
I've used lumenock and glory nocks. Both are ok. Be advised that the extra few grains could cause an FOC problem depending on your arrow setup.

I like the glory nocks, but what he says is true.
 
I just got these and they are legit and you can't beat the price at $14. They dont turn on when applying to the string and they clip on string as well and not loose. Read the reviews!

 
Both deer I have shot with the glory knocks, the knock shut off upon impact. Pretty much defeated the purpose of it in the first place.

After flinging an arrow into some weeds along the edge of my property i'm going back to using lighted nocks. They're the cheap eBay ones and i'm going to use a tip from the Ranch Fairy and put a piece of electrical tape over the bottom of the nock to help hold it in place since some of them fit a little loose. Much easier to just walk out in the yard at night and look for the lighted nock than dig around in some weeds. I'm still hoping I can find the arrow but it'll probably involve the weedeater and a metal detector.
