Ok guys ordering a trophy-line today was wondering what sticks to buy don't want to make them so which are the best full package out of the box and go

Hawk Helium’s are a great stick for the money. With many ways to modify them to fit your hunting style, if you choose.

My opinion is the muddy pro sticks are the best sticks straight out of the box with no mods. Aside from the beast sticks of course.

so you like beast sticks better than muddy.

I haven’t actually put my hands on the beast sticks yet but should have some soon so I can’t say for sure.

I think from what I’ve read that I will like the beast sticks better but they are double the price and unless you have some ordered already then pretty much impossible to get for this season.

A stick that will telescope or break down to a 2 piece length for a 1 stick climbing method.

Its all personal preference. Me, I went the a custom ultralight stick from DanO for single stick climbing. At $120-ish a stick, it can get pricey if looking to climb with multiple but for single sticking, well worth the $$ in my book. Over all seems like the heliums are the best bang for the buck from everything I have seen come across this forum lately.

That's what I want to try next year 1 stick with platform. Goal is to do 2 tie offs to get to 20 ft.

So i decided to go with heliums next question how are you huys carrying them./

I have the Helium’s, Muddy pro, and stacked outdoors. My favorites are still the Stacked outdoors. They are simple and no moving parts

When I used my helium’s I’d carry them with a duffel bag strap slung over my back when I was climbing and strapped to my pack for the walk in. Tied a little piece of 550 in the slots on top n bottom to attach the strap.

I have the helium sticks and love them. I cut them down to 22-1/2”. If you do this watch some videos on if there is one where a guy talks about having ample material above and below the new step location. All that said with the new length the sticks weigh about 7.5 LBS and pack very well. I did the rope mod with amsteel but would just use the stupas like the rope mod now that I know that’s an option. I have a single step aider and can get as high as I want (I hunt with a recurve so I can’t get but so high for shot angles but I can get 15-18 no sweat).

The beast sticks are far superior to any on the market. I have three seasons on a set of four heliums, I bought the beast sticks this year and the heliums have sat in the closet all year. The beast sticks are so light, pack able and grab the tree like you wouldn’t believe. I get 25 ft no prob with four beast sticks. I will be selling my heliums

Well if money is no concern that sounds like to way to go I love my helium’s but the beast sticks sound like the cat’s meow they look awesome too. My buddy just got a set of API sticks that have a fixed double step they were pretty sweet. But I think from all the positive beast reviews I would say that would be a good way to go.

I’ve been thinking about this lately. I’ve used the muddy pros, lone wolfs, lone wolf mini’s, lone wolfs with double steps. And the api’s.
I don’t mean to hi jack your thread, but would like to hear honest opinions.
I see tons of guys using the helium’s. Are they that great? Or is it just a price point thing?
I love the muddy pros, but they are heavy
I’m really liking the cut down api’s too.
Has anyone used either an api stick, muddy pro stick and prefer the helium’s?
