I know it depends on the sticks. I bought some tethrd ones after getting rid of my one stick setup. I'm looking for everyone's opinion on their favorite aiders.

I was looking at the Hunt Arsenal Maxx aiders, but I don't know about packability. Amsteel, webbing.... anything else I should look at?

I use the Amsteel Aiders from Custom Amsteel on my tethrd one sticks. Zero complaints. 3 step on first stick. 2 step on second. 1 step on 3rd.

I also attach them permanently by girth hitching them around the ends of the steps, protected from the step by small pieces of stealth stripping. When not in use they are held rolled up nice and neat with a piece of shock cord. Super efficient and no fumbling around in the dark getting aiders out of a pack to attach to the sticks.

I love cable aiders on my beast sticks. I’ve got some amsteel aiders I made for ONE sticks, but sadly those sticks didn’t hold up for me.. but you can have them if you don’t mind paying for shipping! Just DM me

Versa aider for all versa button style sticks. And the version from backwoods mobile that connects to the top stick on the one sticks. I cannot see any conceivable reason to use anything else. It stays connected to your foot. No fishing around in the dark. If you can stretch you can get 6ft a stick. It's cheap as you only need one. No extra nonsense attached to your sticks.

Have 2 ultim-aiders. One is 2 step and the other is 3 step. Easy to adjust and they haven’t moved once I got them to the length I wanted. Haven’t tried any other aider brand, but also haven’t had the need too, these do exactly what I need.

I made some amsteel ones for my beast sticks.. zero complaints...obviously nothing is perfect but essentially for the price of buying a set of USA attachments, I got all the amsteel and tools needed to build my own USAs and 3 2 step aiders... pretty easy actually once you fiddle with em a bit...

I actually ordered this one. Thanks for the info!

Totally agree with Bigmike, of all the aiders I've tried the Versa Aider has been my favorite. Only drawback is once I no longer was using a stick with a versa button I could no longer use it. I'm currently running a 1stick with a 3 step aider , but when I do use a multiple stick set up I'm using a CAYG 2 step aider from Backwoods Mobile Gear. Last season I ran a knaider and swaider from Backwoods Mobile Gear. I like it for climbing but descending with it was pretty sketchy so I decided to start rappelling down and only climbed with it.

You won't be sorry, it works awesome. Simple and easy to use for both climbing and and descending in the dark. I you can reach down and touch your versa button you can use it no problem. It's so light weight you can just leave it on while you hunt, you won't even know it's there. Hopefully you ordered the one that is adjustable?

Question: I have been using a 4 step CMI Etrier on my 3 - Muddy Pro Sticks for a quite a few years now as a CAYG aider, it has worked great for me. I recently purchased some Latitude Carbon SS sticks to try out. What would be the best CAYG multi step aider to use with these sticks? Looking for a 3-4 step aider.

Imo they all fall short....they need to be wide...2" or more. People get hung up on packability. Alternating rungs over ladder style. Mines pretty sweet but I had to make it
