Prusik, the way I climb it is by far the easiest to move. What hitch are you using on your foot tether that the loop attaches too?
That said, I switch out hitches randomly. WLR probably gets the most love.

I decided to climb with my rappel rope and figure 8 yesterday since I made the worst make shift saddle ever...
In between a tethrd mantis and a Trophyline ambush lolEven worse than a Menace???
Yea, and you don't "need" the prussic. So a linesman rope can be converted to a 2TC foot tether with a prusik and a Blake’s hitch?

Well that’s not horrible then if you lean heavy on the ambush side haha. But what happened to your real saddle? In between a tethrd mantis and a Trophyline ambush lol
It was actually pretty awful. Wouldn’t have been as bad if the webbing I had was a little longer. Also I should have made the bridge a little longer too. It felt like cable aiders on my bottom and rocks on my hips.Well that’s not horrible then if you lean heavy on the ambush side haha. But what happened to your real saddle?
I think I might make a second saddle after I make one for a friend.
Nononono lolGive your buddy the one you just made!
hahaha
Tell us more about his saddle you made...I decided to climb with my rappel rope and figure 8 yesterday since I made the worst make shift saddle ever and wanted to be able to get down in a hurry if needed. WLR hitches on top, figure 8 below. The rope really was not difficult to manage at all and was a viable way to climb with 2TC. I still prefer two regular tethers to climb and hang from.
Also, I’m getting away from the Blake’s hitch foot loop again. I found a nice compromise with the tether, hitch, and footloop girth hitched directly to the hitch chord. You get the nice 1” webbing foot loop with no metal. Also, the way I climb I’m pulling slack out of each tether every time and you really can’t do that with the Blake’s hitch set up.

I know @gcr0003 gives me **** for having a "complicated " setup but OMG is Apex's busy! I do appreciate his innovative approach to 2TC though!Anyone check out Alex Predators setup?
Looks like he found a way to repel with less rope
Cool, you should toss up a thread or something when you get done. I’ve been kicking around the idea of a no-sew webbing seat plus RCH for a few years. Be curious to see what you come up with.I have two set ups minus a saddle now so I think I might make a second saddle after I make one for a friend.
Lol, will take pics asap.....just used it last night..... a longhorn agile main hitch with a footloop attached by some trc and the notch jet stepfoot ascender with stealth modifications makes for the easiest SRT climb you'll ever see.....Okay spill it Samcirrus what’s the new modified jet foot ascender you spoke about? Can’t just mention that and move on lol!!!!
I thought yalls was cousins with all the stuff y’all got in your systems lolI know @gcr0003 gives me **** for having a "complicated " setup but OMG is Apex's busy! I do appreciate his innovative approach to 2TC though!
Oh mine will be a fully sewn saddle. Probably identical to the one I currently use. If you want a no sew saddle then there is no other choice than the diy fleece saddle.Cool, you should toss up a thread or something when you get done. Everbody kno Uncle Gunn don’t hate and he loves u bro but thats only 50 percent credit dawg. 2TC everythingBefore tailgunner chants "2TC or die" at me,...it was a 30' preset set by a 2TC climb a month ago.
