One of my good archery friends, who happened to be black, started calling me Bwana as a racial joke around other folks without them even knowing what it meant about 25 years ago. In Swahili, it means Boss, and it was used alot in the old Tarzan shows. I decided to use it for a login, but it was taken, so added the h and used it ever since.

I acquired my shodan in isshinryu. Brought to you from Okinawa, through the U.S.M.C. Good memories!
 
Old Forester whiskey was my late Dad’s favorite years ago. So whenever it’s available I use it. Sometimes I have to put the two words together (OldForester) or add a number. Or un-capitalize the f like I have for my saddle hunter name. Oldforester
 
My real name is Duane. Been called Dewey since grade school. Hardly anybody knows me by my real name. LOL
 
Mine is a combination of two things I love. Firefighting and hunting. Unfortunately I can only do one now due to injury and it almost knocked me out of both but I have adjusted to keep hunting.

When I started using the internet, it was to look for load recipes for my .222--a CZ 527. The forum I found required a username, of course. I tried Mark (my name) and it was taken, I added the CZ in front and have been using that for 20 years.
 
Been a shooter since my first quail at age 6. Dad was a champion skeet shooter. 16 years of special operations (EOD). Born/raised on St Simons ISLAND. I don't know, it made sense at the time I coined it for my email. Lol.
 
I think the Eastern Coyote is probably the smartest animal in the woods. They are a "woods dog." I like to trap and hunt them and they humble me constantly. I respect them a great deal.... like big ole' whitetail bucks.

I was just down there last summer. Brunswick, Jekyle Island and St. Simons Island. We then went up north for a week near Blue Mountain GA. Had never been before. Beautiful places!
