Any thoughts or opinions on the WEI berserker saddle? Looks interesting but I'm new to this type of hunting and I am curious on what other have to say about it.

Thanks.

I'm curious also. I waited for its original release from the Aerohunter production partnership anxiously. Kind of lost momentum and interest after that fell apart.

It occurs to me now that as I wait for Aerohunter to respond to the market and offer the Shrike with double lineman loops, perhaps this is a good alternative.

I believe that Wild edge released the Berserker last year. Anyways, I have barely seen any on the classified or other classified saddle hunting groups for sale. When did Aerohunter originally going to release it?

I picked up one of these saddles yesterday at the show in Harrisburg. I actually did a sit in it tonight for the last day of Ohio archery. I’ve been using an Aerohunter Kestrel since 2018. They are selling the Berserker at the show for $225 which is $50 off online pricing.

I am not a person that buys every new saddle he sees just to try it out, but I was intrigued because it felt to me like the pleat would help on longer sits. I also like the larger loops on the back that make it easier to use carabiners rather than a bunch of small tight molle loops. Also I noticed that I can put my Amazon dump pouches in a better position on the sides of the saddle. They end up closer to the front whereas on the kestrel they were further back with the way the loops ended up they attached to. Also the adjustable bridge is girth hitched on both sides so you can adjust how much pressure is on the upper or lower part of the saddle by sliding those girth hitches up or down on the bridge loops.

My early impressions are that the saddle was designed for simplicity without unnecessary bells and whistles. I think I’ll end up liking this saddle a lot.
