XL Predator vs Predator

I used Squirrel steps last year and love them. This year I’m getting my wife her first saddle. I think...she would be more comfortable with a plate (Predator).I’m wondering if any body has had both the XL and regular Predator and which one they like more. Does anyone know how long it’s taking to get either from Tethrd?

I bought one on July 23. I just got my shipping notice today. 5 weeks and 4 days...however they stated that i would take about 4-6 weeks when I ordered. I do not know what their shipping for this.

I haven't stood on one, but I think I'd really like the jagged edges on the front of the XL for extra grip, which is different from the original.

Platform is 15 1/2" x 12 3/4". I think the best part of the XL is the angle and 5" on the back wings. It gives you alot of room to push off. No extra step is needed I can shoot the week side by utilizing this perfectly positioned 5" of platform space. Did I mention that it is rock solid with no flex?

What do you mean when you say the angle?... Are you saying that the XL has more adjustability in the leveling bolt that allows it to cam over and sit at more than 90 degrees?... Like for a leaner?... Or did you mean something different?

Does anybody have any insight about the wait time on ordering a Predator XL. Their website is kinda confusing, it says they are on back order but when you click on it, it says available now shipping as of 8/31. I’m about ready to just order the Ambush platform from Trophyline just to know that I will have it soon. I wish Tethrd was clear on wait time. Either 1 week or 6 weeks.

I'm talking about the back corners of the platforn. The original predator was too small for me to use as a foot hold. The angle and size on the XL is just right and i can use it to acess the back side of the tree for a week side shot. (See attached)

I ordered mine the first day it came available for Pre order. I’d say within an hour or two

I also ordered the XL... I have some big feet and just wanted a little extra room to swivel.

I placed my order on August 10th for the XL along with all of my other equipment (Brand new to saddle hunting). I emailed customer service this morning and they said it SHOULD ship within the next 3 weeks.......Considering bow season starts on the 12th, looks like I'm SOL.....Not very many good things to say about Tethrd right now.....
