Can’t agree more. How many times does this happen that a company sends out these pre-order offers before they have product to fulfill a certain amount? Have they not learned to stop doing that until there is stock on the shelves? I fear this will be my final Tethrd purchase.

I went ahead and ordered the Mission Platform today. I would have liked to have the XL Predator but didn’t want to take a chance on having to wait 6 weeks.

Fell for it once and it resulted in a 6 month wait and an unresolved billing error.

I mean I only spent like $900+ on their equipment.....you would think it would be laying in a box ready to add the XL platform and get it out the door....not a great way to start a customer service relationship and get a new client to give good reviews....

I would think common sense would be used?? I have ordered items from them in the past with zero issue. It was just the fact they said ALL the preorders would be ready and available to ship by/on September 1. I was skeptical, but gave benefit of the doubt. Learned my lesson quickly yet again.

Just for reference, I ordered mine on 7/22 and recieved it today. I’ll most likely sell my original predator gen 2 as the size isn’t that different warranting me keeping both.

Trohylines platform is called the Mission. I have the Mission and the Predator and they are both great platforms. I am very impressed with the Mission. I do still like my Predator is small and compacted. The XL Predator does look nice but Trohylines offices are close to where I live so I can get their products pretty fast.
 
I am moving to a bigger platform this year. Instead of 5 squirrel steps I will use 2 or 3 and a scout. The scout is huge. Perfect for me
I know the weight and size and bulk of the scout means I am losing the advantages of saddle hunting over a lock on.

I’ll be honest, the pics of them laying on top of each other don’t have me interested one bit. I actually like the fact that the Pred is small but have always thought about something bigger. After seeing them on top of each other and not side by side, that’s definitely not enough to pay for it imo.

I ordered the first day that pre-orders went live and I received mine today. I have a Solo Scout that I was going to keep or potentially sell. However, if anyone is without a platform currently, and would like the scout until your platform shows up, please let me know. I'm taking a risk on this and I know it, but this forum is full of good people. Pm me if anyone is interested.

I ordered my mission platform on 9-1 and it was at my doorstep yesterday afternoon. You likely wont get that with the other companies.
