I started hunting LBL in about 85. When I got Hunt Stand I went through all my old topo maps and transferred places I have hunted before. If they are marked as a hazard i have not been their in two years. I can definitely tell you where not to hunt, LOL.

Exhibit A in why you don’t need a more pervasive saddle hunter tinder.

All you have to do is show a little leg, or a pile of dead critters, or both, and you’ll have people searching the site to a degree that would put you on a watch list as a google search.

All the “friends” you want!
 
I've met peeps from all over the country because of this website....some are great, some are tolerable, and some are just downright uncouth.

Normally starts in a PM then to call/text. I have been invited to hunt with forum members and I have invited members to hunt with me. I don't want my info out in public and I won't say anything on here to give out ur info

Shoot..... If we get drawn I'll be going and sleeping in close proximity with 5 strangers on an island with no way off other than to swim....I hope there's no serial killers

... Everyone looked at me like I'm crazy for going to a meet up lol. I'm not going to post my info all over in public but I trust people more than I (probably) should.

Interesting idea though
 
My issue isn’t privacy really. Just that it won’t change anything.

Developing a coalition and community is the most Sapien thing you can do.

Using hunting as an excuse to do so is just fine. Half the fun in having a crew of hunting buddies was assembling it. The other half is maintaining it. Some tiny portion of happiness is drawn from the the actual time hunting.

Short circuiting the most important part of the whole thing seems counterproductive.

I know it seems counterintuitive. But making hunting buddies is more important than having them.
