The broken pattern of logic used to fuel this product design is identical to the one used to come up with 99% of the stuff people on this forum or who “saddle hunt” use.

The reactions to the “why?” Are funny to me, given that.


I think that this broadhead’s impact on a fellers success will likely be inside the margin of error and not measurable. Just like Ashby stuff. And just like that I agree it could be argued it likely costs as many opportunities as it pays.


All this said, it still feels like a troll job. I can’t shake it. And if it is, and the why behind it is just to poke people and other broadhead makers, I might sell everything and buy lwcg. That would be hilarious.

Couple years ago I used the same Magnus Black Hornet 125 to kill 2 bucks and 2 does in the same season. When I shot the 3rd doe (deer #5) the arrow predictably passed thru, and unfortunately, hit a large rock, which after inspection turns out it jacked up the ferrule.

I sent an email to Magnus simply to tell them what a great head I thought it was, and why, with pics. Within MINUTES I received an email back asking for my address. Got a brand new head that I subsequently put thru 4 deer the following year, and am still using. 6 whitetails with that head and counting.

You can keep that 1 and done piece of crap.

Nooooo! Cody don’t do it…. Those deer can spot your shiny broadhead from 500 yds. that broadhead can’t be indestructible….. your dad made the first ever indestructible broadhead.

I remember watching Andre say in a video that your broadheads really didn’t need to be that sharp. I think I turned it off at that point.

The broadhead market is oversaturated. This is an poor attempt at a money grab using a metal that anyone with common sense understands is not what you want for a broadhead. All I'll add is... Stay In Your Lane.

I didn't watch the video so maybe I'm missing something. It looks like a worse version of a Montec. Which are easy to sharpen if you can be bothered to try.

I wouldn't think that fish & game agencies would need to make a rule that broadhead cutting edges need to be made out of steel, but, here we are...

Don't know how difficult some broadheads can be to sharpen.
So easy even a GeoFish can do it.

If they are as sharp as their stands were for last couple of years they should have no trouble with sharpness…

My razor does have an aluminum handle though….

So with that in mind, wouldn't it make better sense for them to advertise them as "treestand sharp"?

If they are producing 200grams or less, it’s valid.

except LUSK measured the broadhead at 350, which puts it at “new high end cutlery sharp”. There is no indication LUSK took multiple measurements along the edge. single point measurement is a fault of the BESS measuring system. there are other tests that measure sharpness along the edge.

Can I just say what most of us are thinking that are not part of the metal and fabrication world. I have no idea what that chart means.

A box cutter blade is the standard? While those are kinda sharp why wouldn't u use the scalpel to set the standard. Scalpel is medical equipment so probably has better quality control vs box cutter blades....some are better than others out of the box.
