Yeah as solid as it feels I don’t think drilling holes would weaken it enough to matter and I made the steps I have a drawing a couple of pages back and a short paragraph on how I made them I wanted to make the design something someone could make at home without and special tools

Can't rememer if I read this on here or not but couldn't I use the lone wolf style side to side steps for this application or would the T6061 1/16" be to weak to hold the weight of that style of step.

The 1/16 is not strong enough for that style of step.
