I hope to upgrade mine if not in points at least mass.
 
Looks like 2 more entries! Way to go guys! The wind has changed 3x since setting up earlier. We will see what happens. Hope to put team 9 on the board tonight!

I was kidding. Tons of season left. In va we are only 1 week into bow season... I would be crazy if I thought team 8 really had things wrapped up. Just enjoying the friendly competition.

I know. I think we wrapped up the win on like the last week of season last year. Hopefully it don’t take that long this year for us. Lol.

Y'all are harvesting some great deer. I do want to see a picture of the muzzle loader pistol though! I have always been interested in muzzleloader but have never picked one up. (I already have the longbow!) We need a story to go with the pictures! I am still a kid at heart. Who doesn't like story time?
 
IMG_1276.JPG @Gettin Closer it is a CVA optima v2 .50 caliber. I get heavy 44 mag ballistics from it. That load is 90 grains of loose 777 under a 300 grain .45 hornady sst. I haven't shot it through a chrono but others that have get close to 1400 fps. I have a one inch ultradot red dot sight on top. The gun is a hundred yard gun on whitetail but I would only shoot 50 yards to maybe 75 yards if everything was perfect. Nothing to do with what the gun is capable of but just my grip inconsistencies with anything that has heavy recoil that isn't a bottleneck cartridge. They make the same gun in 300 blackout that I feel would be great for anyone wanting a t/c contender type gun on a budget. That's the first animal I have shot with it. He didn't go far but didn't bleed a drop with exception of blood and bone out the exit wound at the site of impact. My fault for a high lung shot.
 
Thanks! yes wild turkey and white, four fletched 4 inch burned banana type, right wing off set with fur tracers and reflective white crown. Cool to watch in flight, never question where you hit.;)
