Lots of dudes using C-IV for climbing, tethers, rappelling…I would have no problem using that setup as a bridge. To the bridge crowd. I found some C-IV. What say you? Does this look safe for my bridge. I been hanging on it in my basement. I love the way it rides in my caribeener and seems rock solid. Seems pretty simple and straightforward, but my first fixed rope bridge, that's not amsteel. Just don't want to make a dumb mistake. I tried to tag the guys that were active in this thread and seemed to use fixed rope bridges.
If I I missed you I apologize, I still value your opinion.

Thanks my man. I like the way the scaffold knots grab better than the girth hitch/prussic on the adjustable bridge as well. All said it's a win/win this far.Lots of dudes using C-IV for climbing, tethers, rappelling…I would have no problem using that setup as a bridge.

Meaning pushing the rope down onto the blade as opposed to pushing the blade down onto the rope?Should work. The key is to put downwards pressure on the rope as you use this.
Place the rope on a hard surface. Warm up device and put pressure down on the rope with the blade. I use my shop tableMeaning pushing the rope down onto the blade as opposed to pushing the blade down onto the rope?
