Yup, I like peace. Opinions are just that and we are all entitled to them - the wonderful thing about living in a free society in Canada and the USA. Thanks to those who provided it and maintain it.Yeah, I know it is one of those things. But we don't fight like they do on AT. I can't even really bring myself to look at threads on that site.

Based on the history of this topic on Archerytalk, it should probably be banned from SH. Lol! Non-stop fights about it!
Rage 2 blade. Devastating.

Yeah, I knew when I posted. I was just looking for starting point to do some research. And had seen these iron will broadheads but they are really expensive. Also American made and have a lifetime warranty. Look like a beast. There is definitely not a right answer here, just opinions based off personal experience. People are weirdly defensive of what broadheads they shoot. I've only tried thunderheads, G5 tekan (which I realized they are illegal in NY caused they are barbed), then the montecs and finally settled on the rage.

I will. I haven't decided yet but if I could use the same three for even 5 years I would consider that a good investment.$100 for 3 .... ouch but I guess the lifetime warranty helps. Let me know if you fall in love with them! I try to support American made merch.

That's news to me, good thing I hunt in OhioI think the rage were illegal here in Tn because they were considered barbed be cause they didn't fold up once deployed.

Is there anywhere that barbed broadheads are legal? I haven't seen one, that's why I ask.
Steve, about 2010 or so the wording from the TWRA made them illegal in Tn it has been corrected. They do not fold back up once deployed and were considered barbed from the best I remember. I cannot tell you if it was the 2 blade or 3 blade

As stated earlier, barbed broadheads are illegal in NY and other states. In NY, I can tell you that the 2 blade rage are legal and the 3 blade are not. I have been checked by a CO and he specifically checked for this.
Also, since I previously mentioned that I plan to use ramcats this year which appear to be barbed at first glance, I talked with two NY CO's and since the blades fold forward when backing out of an animal to an angle less than 90 degrees to the ferrule, they are legal in NY.
Hope that helps someone for whatever it's worth....
