Diy camo climbing sticks & aiders

FYi the vet wrap tape is pretty good stuff too. They even have it in camo on amazon. I put that on anything that I don't want to leave adhesive residue. I'm a huge fan of stealth strips too though. I just got a shipment in from Lou in the new strata pattern the other day :D

Ya ma he's awesome. But so are you! Now hurry up and post that linesman's belt video somewhere on here so us junior saddle hunters can learn that much faster!

Thanks again for all the help with everything, definitely worth the follow!

Ya man! I haven't seen it posted on here yet, but I miss a lot of stuff.

I saw it the other day and with the discussion we were having about the loops bc addded to his RCH I figured it'd be good to have that here somewhere.

Thanks again for all the videos, they've definitely accelerated my learning.

I really liked the camo painting video G2. Showing the painted and unpainted on the tree in the sunlight sold it for me. Not sure if it has been stated in this thread or not, but even more than the color (break-up), I think the paint job reduced the glare the stick was casting noticeably. Yes, the sun glares off many objects out in the woods, but I do believe that could be highly noticeable as out of place by a deer for sure. And I agree with several on here; I don't like the idea of an aider flapping around in the wind. Taking the aider up makes much sense to me and will be the route I try for sure.

My off season project this will be. Im cutting down a spare set of heliums I have to reduce the overall length which should make it easier to transport. I want to make one aider to slip over the top of the stick and extend down below the bottom steps. Im probably going to have to play with the measurements on this!!!
That's what I'm trying to accomplish as well.

Ha! I did watch it. Attaching the aider at the top is perfect! But I can't reach the top of my sticks once I set it on the tree. I'm too short!!!

How do you attach the stick to the tree? You must be reaching up almost to the top at that point.

I didn't. I was looking for the cheapest option available.

Stealth Strips are the best option for climbing sticks. They camo and silence them at the same time.
isn't there a concern about human odor getting embedded in the stealth strips?
