New Aerohunter saddle

I ordered May 22, got preditor rope bridge. Debbie said rope will be in at the end of this month

I got out in mine last night for about 15 minutes. It is amazing to me, very comfortable. I used a size 1 the last 2 seasons, so the Flex that I ordered is a size 2, so that could be why it's so comfortable now. I adjusted the bridge all the way down to 18" and zero pinch. I lean and sit in it at that bridge size and felt great. You don't need the adjusters now that it has that expansion panel in it. I'm liking this webbing bridge! Probably more then rope or amsteel. The only thing I don't like about it so far is this rubbery material they put as the liner in the inside of it. It's loud by its self, but when the saddle is on, no noise. So far it's a great improvement over the kestrel for me, but that could also be the size difference from 1 to 2. Also the lineman loops are moved really far forward, almost inline with bridge loops.

Unless you plan to use the saddle for turkeys too, the orange color will make zero difference. Even then it likely is not enough to matter.

I've had people walk right past me hanging in the woods, I'd rather not have that bright orange if I don't need it.

I think I am going to look into making a webbing bridge. I would think with the right machine, thread and needle I should be able to do the same thing they did.

Sharing more thoughts...I sat (I'm not a leaner) in mine again last evening, still just as comfortable. The leg adjusters are not needed since you can extend or contract the flex to place the webbing on the bottom exactly where you want it. I still do not like the leg loops, but not going to cut them off yet in case I ever want to sell it. They just get in the way and add weight to me, and they are long enough to go around a good sized tree. I do not plan to wear this or any saddle while walking unless I am going less than 200 yards from the truck, none are comfortable doing so to me, so not a thought. The adjustable web bridge works great and can be easily tweaked in tree when you take off weight with a platform. It is heavier and more bulky than Amsteel. The chart said to get size 1 for my waist, being at the upper range for a 1, but I like the size 2 for me, same as I saw in the Kestrel and Kite. No hip pinch. This is a sitter's dream saddle, but works fine for leaning just fine if you don't extend it. The wide part of the back band is longer, a little more narrow, and heavier than the Tethrd. They solved the complaints about the dingy attachments of the past, but at the cost of some weight due to the beefier clips. The length does not allow for quite as much adjustment as the Tethrd option, so only time will tell if that even matters. Overall, typical Aerohunter quality, built like a tank, no fear of failures. It will hunt!

Also, just my opinion based on a very short sit in a leather Trophyline at Saddlepalooza in February, but this saddle feels the closest to it as I have tried so far, and mainly due to its extended length. @huck72412 would know instantly, I'm sure! I will do some side by side sits to compare to the Wraptor (Anderson) once the weather cooperates and let you know the verdict on that.

I hate to disappoint, but the reigning king of most comfortable and cheapest saddle still belongs to the good old DIY fleece. This one is very good, but the fleece still rules in that respect, but fails overall due to having to use an RCH and work arounds for linesman loops.

How are you pulling the flex out and putting it back in? Maybe I just have a huge ass but mine is in full flex the whole time.

How do you keep the prussics from coming undone when the back band is not attached?

How are you rolling up the backband?

So it looks like the molle loops are a little more generous on the Flex as opposed to the Kestrel?
