Hello everyone.

We are glad you are excited about the products. We have been hunting out of saddles for many years. It is less popular for some reason in Canada but we strongly believe it is the best method of hunting out of a tree. More tutorial videos are will be coming soon. We are continuing to improve on the design and functionality to make the Tree Ladder and Tree Sling as safe and user friendly as possible. We greatly appreciate the suggestions such as how to make the ladder more rigid.

Great idea,
But will it flap in a breeze as does an aider from sticks and steps.....?!?!?!
Maybe there's a way to pull the bottom up out of view and secure it to the tree below a platform...?!?!?

The tree ladder is strapped around the tree every 4 foot sections to keep it stable and on the tree. Currently there is no way to pull it up out of view, however we are looking into relocating production to get more favourable stitching colours.

I may be wrong but I believe the new platform was a new casting designed just for saddle hunting.

You are correct. And actually we are working out a design for a separate platform to add to our product collection but the prototyping phase is very slow as our production is outsourced.

Welcome to the site. I think as a community we appreciate hunting vendors sharing here. Can you share some better picture of your gear the saddle looks like an ambush style? but i cannot tell from the pics and video. Is the ladder individual pieces or one continues piece? looking forward to your input!

Our initial design was broken up into sections. But we quickly found that it would was much easier to have them all sewn together. Our latest model is in the completion phase and is a full length of 24' with pull straps sewn on every 4'.

Anyone thinking through an amsteel rope ladder you tether as you go up? I've been kicking around some ideas but none have really proofed out and I am a super amatuer splicer. Could you somehow splice in continuous loops?

And no, for the record I don't buy into the straps swaying in the breeze spooks deer theory but if you are in that camp this wouldn't be the system for you.

I built a prototype of this same ladder system about 10 years ago. In fact it is still sitting in my garage somewhere. Never pursued it since it seemed like you needed to be pysically fit to use it. Figured if it wasn't for everyone maybe it wouldn't sell well. Could be one of those could have should have moments. Even had a name, i was going to call it the tree vine.

With regard to the saddle, based on the picture on their site, it looks like the bridge is sewn to the tether, will this limit maneuverability compared to a bridge that can slide through a carabiner on the tether?

I’ve only played with a sit drag for a few hours, but it seemed that having that abilty to spin was handy.

I just got off the phone with ARC.
They don’t have a store front yet and are working other jobs while trying to set up ARC Hunting.
They have been getting feedback on their products and are starting to mod them accordingly.
Hopefully in a few months they’ll be in full swing.
They will definitely appreciate your input on their product.

Received my ladder today, hope to try out later today.
At first look, super well made and heavy duty. It has the rock climbing style buckles found on harnesses and saddles.
Hit the scales at 8lbs 4oz.
I'll post a pic in a bit.
