So this pic belongs to @justsomedude I think most of us made a onehair tree seat back in the day. It was the diy saddle for guys that couldn’t sew.
And in this thread you can find at least two fleece saddles. One is a no sew saddle that has got the be the most comfortable saddle you can build in less than ten minutes and ten dollars. It also has no safety items so a RCH should be required. The other is the famous woobie sling by @BCHunter
Homemade saddle
I hear a lot of people talking about their sit drag/rch combo and or fleece. Seems like a great idea, but little Leary about sitting in homemade gear 20 feet up. Any thoughts on safety? Also would like some input on how y’all are adding linesman loops to RCH and how your doing the fleece saddle?

it was called a preacher seat. Onehair was a user name on bow site that posted a thread there about it. I think that was the first time I’d ever seen one.
Here’s another one.
I started using this as a tether in 2019. There were many safety related questions. I really liked how compact a tether the webbing made so I decided to use it and and change it out every year. Looking at this old thread I now realize it’s four years old and I haven’t changed it. I think I’ll retire it in January. Probably the best thing @Nutterbuster ever introduced me to.
Ok that’s enough reminiscing. I’m getting a little teary eyed now so I’m going to go to bed.
