I got an email from NT today and she said they will know in the next few days when they will be able to ship more. Good thing I still have a TL! Lol sold 2 and bought 1. For some reason I can't help but buy them!

I was out in the woods sitting in my Kestrel testing it and my phone rang. It was New Tribe calling about my missing items in my saddle package. Said everything is on the way. Great customer service!

I feel stupid now.......The shipping email I got was for sign supplies I ordered.....It was next to a New tribe shipping confirmation email someone posted on the forum. It showed up in my email feed just like a shipping confirmation.......duh moment.
 
Im number 309. I figure it will probably come in October since NT probably did not expect the masses to all buy one out the box!! With that said I still have two saddles in my arsenal so no worries. I would rather them take their time and continue to make the superior product that I have come to expect!!

I hope your wrong, I have 5 spots set up for a saddle, season opens in 3 days, disappointing to me to pay for something that is supposed to ship on a certain date, and then it doesn't happen.

I can understand your concern but alot goes into making these. Its not just some fabric from the store and some quick sewing. These are high quality peices of gear that will last several years with minimal wear and tear. Sure they could rush and quickly stitch something together but then you would be pissed that it did not hold up and too if it failed 20ft up. Don't worry you, everyone, and I will get it but we will have to wait a little. You will not be disappointed trust me!!

The first lot shipped so if you have not got it then we have to wait. Patience is the key but I can understand the frustration of the timing!!
 
I talked to new tribe yesterday and they were still shipping from what I understand. Like MCDM said be patient they will come. I have a Guido's web and a treesuit that I can use if they don't get here by September 16th so I'm good .

In their defense, they said they would begin shipping on September 1st. They never said everyone's would ship on that date.

X2!! Something that I think many overlooked. I talked to NT in the office last week and they said they had many to ship out but there would be a backlog as the product does take awhile to make. Another thing to also consider is that they do more than just hunting harnesses and have to also keep up with the other industries they service. Also they are a small shop not commercially as big as most treestand manufacturers but they are an American company doing things right making a great product without selling out to the masses. Lastly there is one more thing to consider is that there are more saddlers out there then one may think. Many people lurk on here before they join the revolution so hey consider how many bought it too.

I would call them and ask for a time frame. They will be honest and the number is not necessarily the amount of kestrel's sold. I believe its order numbers and they sell more than just the kestrel. Let us know what you find out!!

My only complaint is that I ordered on the first day and paid extra for expedited shipping based on a September 1 ship date.

Now its almost a week later and I still don't have a shipping notice, so I feel like offering, and subsequently me paying extra for the priority shipping was misleading.

I'm curious, did New Tribe announce the pre order special on the Kestrel on any other platform(pun intended) besides Saddlehunter.com ?

Anyone know?

I too paid for expedited shipping which just means I guess it will come quicker. Its frustrating to wait but it ain't gonna deter me and i know you are gonna continue business as usual.
