Sneak peak of the New Aero Hunter Saddle

Boswell and I have hunted out of a lot of prototypes to get to this point. I've killed deer out of prototypes that will never see the light of day and so has Boswell. This model is light years better than some really good prototypes. We did not stop at really good--we could have easily delivered a really good version three or four prototypes ago. I can say, without a doubt, this new offering from Aerohunter, is the worth the wait.

Also, Boswell's recent trip to New Tribe was crucial in finishing up this prototype in time for this fall. The version before he went there was at about 98 percent. He and Casey really worked out the last minor issue. Now if Boswell can post the dang video...

Will there be a big price difference ..? I read past posts from when I first joined SH; some members didn't buy the aero because of its price. Hopefully some of those members will be able to purchase with their budgets.

Our season opens in just a few weeks. I don't know if this will be ready in time. Hopefully it delivers on the hype!

x2. Season opens September 9th, hoping to have one in my hand before then!

Depends on your definition of big? A lot went into this saddle not just designing a comfortable and functional saddle. A lot when into those but with consideration of what the end price will be. With the pre order price I feel it should fall into most people's budget. We are planning to take pre orders next week.

Saddles should be shipping around Sept first so you better get in line early!!!

Thanks,
Boswell

One of the biggest reasons why i went with the sitdrag was because of the weight in comparison to the new tribe. However newtribes quality is still something I desire which I have not found anywhere else. I think as far as budgets go if it can't be bought right that instant leave it be and save it up. It will be very close to the season for all of us and changing over to another harness/saddle maybe not the best idea.

I too agree about this mystery video lol!! At least that way we know what we can expect on the preorder. No worries Boswell you definitely have put in some hard work and time. I truly appreciate your commitment and thank you.

Another question, I bought my Aero Hunter last summer. It came with the Yale Bandit.
Are those Blakes hicthes made with some kind of Amsteel rope? They are grey in color.
That hitch cord is called Tenex and was substituted for the black cord for a short period. We were seeing some inconsistencies that we did not like so we went with the Tenex until it was cleared up. The Tenex is rated over 5,000 lbs. It had a looser weave than we liked but I liked how flat it sat on the rope. I felt like it did not constrict the rope as much. This link will give you more info.

Man i hope this saddle lives up to the hype. Definitely sounds like they are putting their time in on the design front. Very exciting!

I have the sitdrag for a lightweight setup at a very low cost. I hope that it is comfortable. If it is a fair amount more comfortable than a sitdrag, then I am in!

I like that they are listening and improving. I have all faith that it will be top notch. I also know that you can't please everyone but no matter the results it will be a huge step forward in saddle hunting. Thanks for y'alls commitment to saddle hunting.

Hope it comes soon. If not I'm going to go SD modified so I can start practicing for the season as I'm very green to it.

Go ahead with a modified SitDrag...you'll need a spare anyway.

:) :) :)

@Carcher87 - you're still a little new to the forum. You'll quickly find out that a lot of these fellas blame me for their lack of fiscal responsibility. I figure I might as well earn the notoriety.
Lol
