What camo do you wear

ASAT or the ASAT leafy suit. I have my Remington Versamax cerrakoted an my Elite Answer done in it also. In my opinion it cant be beat.

I use to go to the nearest Basspro and grab stuff but I've recently tried out Sitka. It may be a bit expensive for some clothing but it's worth every penny in my opinion. I love the way it feels, it's made very well. And the camo pattern is unique. Not to mention you do not have to pile on layer after layer in the cold. Around here it can get below 30 and a base layer shirt and a long sleeve medium Sitka shirt is plenty.

However, I don't even know if it really matters as much as personal preference. My grandfather introduced me to hunting many years ago. And all he wore was a red flannel shirt, bluejeans and some cheap Dollar Store bought rubber boots and used a single shot slug gun. He's killed more deer than probably I ever have or ever will see.

Check out this camo! Much to your point.

I wear a lot of solids but mix other patterns too some I really like are...

Kryptek Highlander
Mossy Oak Bottomland or Treestand
Realtree Max-1
Kuiu Vias
Sitka Open Country or Subalpine, EV2 is ok sometimes

This year I am using:
O2 Octane - great when using ghillie sniper veil from ground

Vertigo

Realtree Max-1

I like a mix match. I don't really care about patterns as much as breaking up the outline. Does it work? I don't know for sure. But deer here scan trees a lot and I've gotten away with it more than I used to.

Pants I try to match the tree and for the top I try to match the sky. I've gotten funny looks wearing snow camo in October.

Myself, I love the old Winona Camo but I like the ASAT too. I feel most camo is too dark and makes you stand out as a huge dark blob in the tree. In areas where I feel I don't have adequate background cover I've worn snow camo with good luck.
I like lighter colored, and open pattern. Doesn't really matter the brand as long as its not cotton.
I tend to try to wear different patterns on top to bottom. Maybe it breaks up my outline slightly better.
The one exception with wearing darker patterns is during and after rain when a lot of stuff is darker from being soaked by rain.
Actually, for me, the main reason for camo isn't to hide from deer, its mostly for hiding from other hunters. I don't like advertising my stand locations...another reason saddles rule.
