1. Who will be the first to build a carbon fibre platform...
2. That's nice and light but what are you going to do when a NJ black bear comes and steals your doe? You can't swing that at him. LOL.
. ( I'd rather have my 15lb total set up... Yeah.. So I can swing my sticks at it... Yeah that's it...)

As a public land hunter, and not being able to use spurs or screw ins, I am very envious of these ultralite setups!
My bear protection still packs better than sticks.2 things:

Dremel, hacksaw, etc....but shipping is a lot less when already cut!!! And theor cuts are pristine.

I can do a step with my EZ-KUT in about a minute. Definitely slower than most other methods unless you're hunting presets. But, the weight and bulk trade off offset the setup speed issue for me. I've used sticks, wild edge steps, and spurs, but prefer bolts over all of them for safety, portability, and the ability to do presets.
