Entire setup...5.25 lbs

I was waiting for this :)
Rock west composites
0.375x96" $64.99
$35 to have them cut to 6"
$11 shipping.

That is nice! Although I still don’t want to have to drill 14 holes to get up one tree.

2 things:
1. Who will be the first to build a carbon fibre platform...
2. That's nice and light but what are you going to do when a NJ black bear comes and steals your doe? You can't swing that at him. LOL. . ( I'd rather have my 15lb total set up... Yeah.. So I can swing my sticks at it... Yeah that's it...)

Could you just put 8 of the carbon rods in a ring instead of the ameristeps? save yourself another pound?
Think you'd have to double t hem up for comfort....I like th e steps.

Anyone have a video on how fast it is to drill with one of the hand drills like VT has?? I have an old treehopper hand drill and that thing doesn't work worth a darn IMO. I'm just curious if I'm missing out on a better hand drill etc?

I can do a step with my EZ-KUT in about a minute. Definitely slower than most other methods unless you're hunting presets. But, the weight and bulk trade off offset the setup speed issue for me. I've used sticks, wild edge steps, and spurs, but prefer bolts over all of them for safety, portability, and the ability to do presets.

Hey Mobigbucks I’ve got the tree hopper system too only using a cordless to drill and carry the hand drill to clean out holes from debris or frozen sap
