Things are looking for team 6 to put some points on the board.
Also I got the permission on the new property with alfalfa. However possible poachers were captured on camera....
 
Its been a sleepless night getting excited for the first day of our metro hunt (t minus 3 hours). A few studs are roaming the park as well as a basket rack albino...gotta say a full body mount albino would be sweeeeeet.
Hoping to at least put down a doe or 5 lol.

No dice this morning. Had a six point in range but let him go and grow.

Old Indian saying is do not shoot an albino deer it's bad luck and in some states they are protected. But good luck anyway.
 
Hit a doe...knocked her over, got up and bulldozed for 40...tracked for 300 yds and lost blood. Gonna give her some time

Good luck hope you find her. Are you able to use tracking dogs there at all?

Never did find her. Up and down ridges doing a grid search for 3 hours and all I ended up with is sore legs. Can't use tracking dogs in Minnesota.

Negative...it will likely be a week or 2 before I manage to get out.

We saw a 50 degree drop overnight...it's killing me to not be out there right now!

Finally some cold fronts pushing through Indiana this weekend into next week. Sunday evening and Monday morning I’m headed out to some public ground. Looking to put some brown on the ground for Team 6! Be safe out there gents!
