Out of state hunts 2019

Any of u guys head to illinois give he shout I pretty live at jepc end of october til mid Nov in my camper

Alabama and Georgia will be the biggest part of my hunting.Annual trip to Illinois to hunt public land with my Son,My Son in Law and my Brother in Law for 10 days.Really enjoy that getaway with the boys.Always need the wind down time

I have been hunting Ohio for the last 12-15 years. Last year was the first time in many that I hunted West Virginia and Ohio both. I planned on doing both again this year but surgery forced me to take all of my vacation. WV is the only place I’ll be this year.

I'm about to board my plane bound for AZ for a mule deer hunt with my brother. We tried late season in January and didnt have any luck so we are doubling down on early season velvet. Fingers crossed... my bow is now in the hands of the very capable delta baggage handlers... :anguished:

I'm curious where everyone is hunting out of state this year.

Me...

Atlanta suburbs with @huck72412
Michigan with a buncha dudes
Missouri with my brother and a buncha dudes
Montana with @Erniepower
Alabama with my Uncle
Washington DC with @putt4doe

My out-of-state hunting has taken a real back seat the last 10 years in the military. I've only been able to travel a few times. Now I'm making up for lost time.

Who's going on a cool trip? I want to hear about it and get jealous.

Think I might apply for a PA elk tag for the 2020 season, and I’m saving funds to hunt my in-laws’ area in OH. That’s about $250 for one tag and license, so again, 2020 is more likely, but I’ll grab them from Walmart in October if I have the funds, and hunt an 11-acre woodlot my buddy just bought out there.

IL seems like a popular destination for fellers. Good luck! I thoroughly enjoyed my 2017 hunt there in Shawnee National Forest.

@g2outdoors ive pretty much decided on unit 14. North of steamboat springs. I’m going in blind , I’ve only scouted it online so we’re just hoping for the best. It’ll be an experience either way!

Kentucky in the early and late season.
