I looked those up. Nice, but pricey!!

Ya. Crazy expensive. He just retired. He was pullin in a 1/4 mill p/y basically fixing peoples stomachs after a lifetime at the drive through. He would like to thank McDonalds for his retirement gift. I just couldnt see physically driving that or those quigley vans down the narrow brushy roads I hunt. I vote the 84 Subaru. I wonder if it still has the Van Halen 1984 album cassette in the player?

Best hunting vehicle ... the AWD 1978 Suburu Brat. Its kind of like the mullet of automobiles. Looks like this sporty model even has t-tops. View attachment 36651
When I was younger, the older brother of a friend just got one of them and there was heavy snow. Two of us were sitting in the bed and two in the cab. He started down the un-plowed road and snow built up under it and it stopped. We got out and one front wheel and one rear wheel would spin. We said put it in 4WD but it was in 4WD. I learned that 4WD was really 2WD if you didn't have lockers. We pushed it off the snow drift and it worked fine where the snow was not too deep.

I love my older 2003 Lexus gx470! 4wd, v8, and all the luxury without the price. You can find them cheaper than a 4Runner. They kinda are a hidden gem

That’s right. Although the hidden part is fading away. Several off-road articles have been written about them recently. Here’s a pic of my 2006. AWD V8 with locking differential. Plenty of room in the back to haul a deer too.

Pretty much a Sequoia right? I believe Lexus IS the “fancy” Toyota. That is a good find. I may have to check into that.

It’s like the Toyota Prado that is sold Internationally. A little different layout versus a 4Runner but not as big as a Sequoia.

Here’s my old adventure wagon but I recently parted ways with her. 70 series land cruiser, turbo diesel and right side drive. Tons of space in the back when the seats are folded up and held a lot of gear. 4wd worked great too.
