Team 7!

Just on the tree is good enough.

How bad is the back? I have had a couple herniated discs in that area for over 10 years now. Sometimes they act up but I've been managing them mostly with stretching and situps. I will have sciatica and lower back soreness but I haven't "thrown my back out" in over 5 years now. I hope you get better!

My left leg is numb on the side and toes. Only hurts when I move. Crossbow season can't come soon enough....
Thank you for well wish, I'm hoping an inversion table will help. I haven't been able to do a situp since high school. Lol I think its time to strengthen the core

Tx5 for me and hung my wormy a stand to.hunt with me in tree beside my

Holy baloney we are sucking hind teet with only a single doe from Red squirrel. (pun intended). With health things going on in my house, my time in a tree has been limited. Good luck out there.

Go team red squirrel
Gearing up for the weekend. Hunted last night, saw one feeding away just as I was set up. Going out tonight before this storm blows in and pretty pumped for this sit. Then I'm gonna try to squeeze one in Saturday morning cause it looks like temps are going to be in the high 30's after the storm blows out. Hopefully a Sunday sit or 2.

I'm trying to close out my fiscal year at work (10/31) strong, so I'll probably only get a couple hunts in before November. After that, though, it's game on!
Ours ends then too, bringing a crazy end to this bonkers work year.

Then on to the next :_

On the plus side, Ga rifle starts this weekend

I was in the woods in a tree today from 3:30 to 6:30. I saw a squirrel but not redsquirrel. :mask:
I was hunting near this tree but not too close. It was huge for a leaner.

I'm smoking the Guido tonight. I have a 5 minute walk, 10 feet to climb with the LWHC.
The Hickory Creek is officially coming with me. I'm feeling good about this, 5 or 6 trails all meet there. Food and bedding within a hundred yard. Early morning for me to sneak in.

I'm hoping to sneak out for a quick hunt this afternoon. Had about a 15 degree temperature drop after storms last night, with clear skies and a steady North wind today. If that's not a green-light indicator to get in the woods, I don't know what is!
The rain is here right now.

Sadly I’ve only been able too hunt two times myself this season because of work but I got the ol laidy her first deer and now this weekend is my daughters turn for her first deer, hope to get that done. As soon as she gets a tag punched it’s my turn and I’m going to give em heck!

Weather looks great for tomorrow morning but I have a Jeep run to do for St.Jude. It's all good though, I'll just keeps tabs on you guys.

Last tuesday evening, I had 4 bucks hitting some acorns. The bigger one came in the last 10min before dark. He was a good 3yr old but just out of range until they passed by at 10yrds in the dark lol
Not 100% sure I would've shot him but it was cool.
Weekdays are great on public land.

I'm hesitant to go hunting on Saturdays since I am sure to walk past another hunter and don't want to get yelled at again for ruining his hunt.
